Discourse

Discourse is the open-source discussion platform built for the next decade of the Internet. The job it does: building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

The natural audience is companies with a specific process to automate. Related areas on their profile: Open Source. As a mid-sized company team themselves (51 to 200 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best.

Discourse is based in Dover, Delaware. More on discourse.org.

Things worth asking about: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.

If you have worked with Discourse, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
