DepartmentWare Inc.

Departmentware is a public safety software development company. In practice that means building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

Who is it for? Mostly companies with a specific process to automate. Related areas on their profile: Public Safety. As a very small company team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

DepartmentWare Inc. is based in Lewisville, Texas. Their site is departmentware.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.

If you have worked with DepartmentWare Inc., tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
