DEMANDTRANS

DemandTrans Solutions delivers software applications to solve problems, resource scheduling, predictive modeling, transportation, etc. In practice that means building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

It makes the most sense for companies with a specific process to automate. As a very small company team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

DEMANDTRANS is based in Chicago, Illinois and around since 1994. Their site is demandtrans.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.
