Data Direction

Data Direction deals with information management and data processing services, rendering data entry, accounts payable, scanning & mailroom. The job it does: building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

Who is it for? Mostly companies with a specific process to automate. They also list Accounting, Data Storage and Management Information Systems, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a mid-sized company team themselves (51 to 200 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best.

Data Direction is based in Southfield, Michigan. More on datadirectioninc.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
