Cygnusoft

Cygnusoft is a technology firm specializing in providing custom software development, internet, security management & engineering services. The job it does: assessing, monitoring and responding to security threats on your behalf.

The natural audience is companies without a full security team. Related areas on their profile: Information Services and Security. As a small company team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Cygnusoft is based in Woodside, New York. Their site is cygnusoft.com.

Our checklist for this category: response times, what is included in monitoring, and reporting. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.
