CTFd

Here is CTFd in plain terms. The CTFd Flag framework out there for hiring hackers, training developers, and teaching students. The job it does: delivering courses and tracking who completed what.

It makes the most sense for HR, training teams and educators. They also list Cyber Security, Printing, Training and Web Hosting, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a small team, 11 to 50 people, which usually shapes who they work with. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

CTFd is based in Brooklyn, New York. More on ctfd.io.

Things worth asking about: content formats, quizzes, certificates, and reporting. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

If you have worked with CTFd, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
