CrowdChat, a Palo Alto, CA-based provider of a social engagement and big data analytics platform. The job it does: scheduling posts, replying to comments and reporting across networks.

It makes the most sense for social and community managers. They also list Big Data, Crowdsourcing and Social Media, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.
