Crocodoc

Crocodoc is used in converting Microsoft Office and PDF documents to HTML5, and enabling users to view and collaborate with any web app. The job it does: writing and editing documents together with comments and versions.

Who is it for? Mostly teams that produce a lot of documents. They also list Document Management, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.
