Covariant is an AI Robotics company developing a universal AI that enables robots to see, reason, and act on the world around them. Put simply, it is about building, training and deploying machine learning models.

Who is it for? Mostly data science teams. They also list Artificial Intelligence (AI), Industrial Automation, Machine Learning and Robotics, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a mid-sized product team themselves (51 to 200 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best.

Covariant is based in Emeryville, California and founded in 2017. Their site is covariant.ai.
