CORE

CORE is a computer software firm that provides cloud-based ERP software for the contract furniture industry and other businesses. Put simply, it is about managing your IT, from help desk to infrastructure, as an outside partner.

Who is it for? Mostly small and mid-sized companies. They also list Cloud Computing and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a small team, 11 to 50 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

CORE is based in Downers Grove, Illinois. More on corebusinesssystem.com.

Things worth asking about: response SLAs, onboarding, and what is billed per hour. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.

If you have worked with CORE, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
