Copan Systems

Copan Systems offers a persistent data platform for cost-effective management, storage, access and recovery of data. The job it does: moving data between systems on a schedule without hand-built scripts.

It makes the most sense for data and ops teams. They also list Big Data, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a large product team themselves (1,001 to 5,000 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Bigger vendor, more process. Budget time for procurement.

Copan Systems is based in Longmont, Colorado. Their site is copansystems.com.

Our checklist for this category: connector coverage, sync frequency, and row-based pricing. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.
