Convergent IT

Convergent IT Solutions Inc. offers business and technology solutions, specializing in system development, deployment, and maintenance. Put simply, it is about building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

It makes the most sense for companies with a specific process to automate. Alongside the main category they mention Consulting, Outsourcing and Warehousing. As a small company team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Convergent IT is based in Manassas, Virginia. Their site is convergentit.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.
