Congregate

Congregate offers online tools for Church of Christ congregations to manage sermons and member activities. Put simply, it is about designing and building iOS and Android apps.

Who is it for? Mostly businesses launching or rebuilding an app. Alongside the main category they mention Mobile Apps and Religion. They are a small team, 11 to 50 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Congregate is based in Abilene, Texas. More on congregateclients.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio quality, app store experience, and maintenance terms. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.

If you have worked with Congregate, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
