Cognizer

Cognizer is a software company that specializes in deep-learning powered Natural Language Intelligence. Put simply, it is about building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

The natural audience is companies with a specific process to automate. Related areas on their profile: Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning and Software Engineering. They are a small team, 11 to 50 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Cognizer is based in Livermore, California. Their site is cognizer.ai.

Things worth asking about: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

If you have worked with Cognizer, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
