Clustrix

ClustrixDB is a SQL database engineered for the cloud built specifically to meet the unique performance demands of e-commerce merchants. The job it does: running websites, apps and data on servers you do not have to maintain.

The natural audience is developers and businesses of every size. They also list Big Data, Cloud Computing and E-Commerce, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a small product team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Clustrix is based in San Francisco, California. Their site is clustrix.com.

Our checklist for this category: pricing predictability, support quality, and migration help. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.

If you have worked with Clustrix, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
