CloudHood

CloudHood provides business management software, warehouse management system, and POS solutions for restaurant and retail sectors. In practice that means ringing up sales in person and syncing them with inventory.

Who is it for? Mostly shops, restaurants and pop-ups. Alongside the main category they mention Point of Sale. As a small product team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

CloudHood is based in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania. You can read more at cloudhood.com.

Things worth asking about: hardware, offline mode, and processing fees. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
