Cleo

Cleo offers enterprise integration software solutions that enable managed file transfer, network fax, and interactive messaging activities. The job it does: building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

The natural audience is companies with a specific process to automate. They also list File Sharing, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a mid-sized team, 201 to 500 people, which usually shapes who they work with.

Cleo is based in Loves Park, Illinois and around since 1976. Their site is cleo.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

If you have worked with Cleo, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
