Cityon

Cityon specializes in talent assessment, applicant tracking, order fulfillment, custom apps, strategic staffing and managed IT services. In practice that means building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

It makes the most sense for companies with a specific process to automate. As a small company team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Cityon is based in Plano, Texas. Their site is cityonsystems.com.

Before you commit, look at portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.

If you have worked with Cityon, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
