CaterZen

CaterZen offers catering software solution that allows drop-off and off-premise catering to co-exist in one platform. The job it does: building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

The natural audience is companies with a specific process to automate. They also list Catering and Consumer Software, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a very small company team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

CaterZen is based in Nashville, Tennessee. More on caterzen.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
