Carta is a global ownership management platform that helps companies, investors, and employees manage equity and ownership. The job it does: accepting cards, bank transfers and wallets online or in person.

Who is it for? Mostly any business that takes money. They also list Asset Management, Finance, Financial Services, FinTech and Impact Investing, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a large product team themselves (1,001 to 5,000 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. At that size expect formal onboarding, documentation and a longer sales cycle.
