Calxeda

Calxeda offers a software server platform that uses energy-efficient ARM architecture, enabling reduction in capital and operating expenses. Put simply, it is about building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

Who is it for? Mostly companies with a specific process to automate. Alongside the main category they mention Data Center and Energy Efficiency. As a mid-sized company team themselves (51 to 200 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best.

Calxeda is based in Austin, Texas. More on calxeda.com.

Our checklist for this category: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

If you have worked with Calxeda, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
