Builtfirst

Builtfirst is a developer of multi-use partner marketplace platform. Put simply, it is about running an online store from catalog to checkout.

Who is it for? Mostly retailers and brands. Alongside the main category they mention E-Commerce and Marketplace. They are a small team, 11 to 50 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Builtfirst is based in San Francisco, California and around since 2020. You can read more at builtfirst.com.

Things worth asking about: transaction fees, themes, and app ecosystem. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

If you have worked with Builtfirst, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
