Bright Language

Bright Language provides international language assessment tests and language testing tools. In practice that means building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

It makes the most sense for companies with a specific process to automate. They also list Language Learning and Skill Assessment, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Bright Language is based in Centerville, Massachusetts and around since 1990. More on brightlanguage.com.

Before you commit, look at portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.
