Blackfish Software

Blackfish Software is a software development company that develops, maintains and sells the IE tab browser extension. The job it does: building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

The natural audience is companies with a specific process to automate. As a very small company team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Blackfish Software is based in Kirkland, Washington and founded in 2003. More on blackfishsoftware.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
