BlackDuck is a cybersecurity services company. Black Duck secures and manages open source software worldwide, eliminating open source security vulnerabilities and license compliance pain. Put simply, it is about assessing, monitoring and responding to security threats on your behalf.

It makes the most sense for companies without a full security team. They also list Cyber Security and Open Source, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a very large company team themselves (5,000+ people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. At that size expect formal onboarding, documentation and a longer sales cycle.
