Blackbird

Blackbird is a learning management product. Cross-curricular coding units for core K-12 classes. The job it does: delivering courses and tracking who completed what.

Who is it for? Mostly HR, training teams and educators. They also list E-Learning, EdTech, Education, Secondary Education and STEM Education, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Blackbird is based in Portland, Oregon. More on blackbirdcode.com.

Things worth asking about: content formats, quizzes, certificates, and reporting. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.
