Birdi

Birdi is a cybersecurity services company. Elegant Smart Home Products. The Birdi Smart Detector is a combined smoke & CO alarm + air quality monitor. Put simply, it is about assessing, monitoring and responding to security threats on your behalf.

It makes the most sense for companies without a full security team. They also list Hardware, Internet of Things, Security and Smart Home, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a very small company team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Birdi is based in San Francisco, California. Their site is birdihome.com.

Our checklist for this category: response times, what is included in monitoring, and reporting. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

If you have worked with Birdi, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
