Big Yak Technologies

Big Yak Technologies provides companies with consulting services, technology solutions, and assistance to develop products. In practice that means assessing, monitoring and responding to security threats on your behalf.

The natural audience is companies without a full security team. Alongside the main category they mention Architecture, Consulting, Digital Media, Mobile and Security. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Big Yak Technologies is based in Scituate, Massachusetts and founded in 2008. Their site is bigyak.net.

Things worth asking about: response times, what is included in monitoring, and reporting. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

If you have worked with Big Yak Technologies, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
