BeamIO

BeamIO provides processing workflow automation, remote sensing expertise and algorithm development & optimization services. In practice that means managing your IT, from help desk to infrastructure, as an outside partner.

Who is it for? Mostly small and mid-sized companies. They also list Data Integration, Data Visualization, Information Services and Remote Sensing, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

BeamIO is based in Arlington, Virginia and around since 2016. Their site is beamio.co.

Things worth asking about: response SLAs, onboarding, and what is billed per hour. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

If you have worked with BeamIO, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
