BandyWorks

BandyWorks provides Big Data services of data migration and analytics using Pentaho, SQL Server and all major report writing tools. The job it does: managing your IT, from help desk to infrastructure, as an outside partner.

Who is it for? Mostly small and mid-sized companies. Related areas on their profile: Analytics, Customer Service, Database, Professional Networking and Professional Services. They are a small team, 11 to 50 people, which usually shapes who they work with. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

BandyWorks is based in Colonial Heights, Virginia and around since 2005. Their site is bandyworks.com.

Things worth asking about: response SLAs, onboarding, and what is billed per hour. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.
