Avnet

Avnet is a global technology solutions compnay. In practice that means connecting machines, sensors and robots to software that controls or monitors them.

Who is it for? Mostly manufacturers and operators. Alongside the main category they mention Electrical Distribution, Electronics, Hardware, Internet of Things and Supply Chain Management. As a very large product team themselves (5,000+ people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Bigger vendor, more process. Budget time for procurement.

Avnet is based in Phoenix, Arizona and founded in 1921. More on avnet.com.

Things worth asking about: hardware compatibility, uptime, and support. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.
