Avitar Associates

Avitar Associates is a software development firm that specializes in developing software and assessing services for municipalities. The job it does: building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

The natural audience is companies with a specific process to automate. Related areas on their profile: Mapping Services and Training. They are a small team, 11 to 50 people, which usually shapes who they work with. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Avitar Associates is based in Chichester, New Hampshire. You can read more at avitarassociates.com.

Before you commit, look at portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
