assembly

Assembly is an eCommerce growth platform powered by software, community, and data. The job it does: running an online store from catalog to checkout.

The natural audience is retailers and brands. They also list E-Commerce, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a large team, 501 to 1,000 people, which usually shapes who they work with. At that size expect formal onboarding, documentation and a longer sales cycle.

assembly is based in Culver City, California. Their site is withassembly.com.

Before you commit, look at transaction fees, themes, and app ecosystem. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.

If you have worked with assembly, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
