ASIR

ASIR is a geophysical instrumentation company that delivers comprehensive and innovative services for modern solid earth monitoring. Put simply, it is about managing your IT, from help desk to infrastructure, as an outside partner.

The natural audience is small and mid-sized companies. Alongside the main category they mention Geospatial and Hardware. As a very small company team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

ASIR is based in Carbondale, Illinois. Their site is asirseismic.com.

Our checklist for this category: response SLAs, onboarding, and what is billed per hour. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

If you have worked with ASIR, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
