Articulate Software

Articulate Software offers consulting and custom software development with a focus on open source solutions. The job it does: delivering courses and tracking who completed what.

Who is it for? Mostly HR, training teams and educators. They also list Consulting, Software Engineering and Training, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a very small product team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Articulate Software is based in San Jose, California. Their site is articulatesoftware.com.

Things worth asking about: content formats, quizzes, certificates, and reporting. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
