ArcSight

Here is ArcSight in plain terms. Micro Focus is an enterprise software company. In practice that means assessing, monitoring and responding to security threats on your behalf.

The natural audience is companies without a full security team. Related areas on their profile: Data Center, Data Management and Security. They are a very large team, 5,000+ people, which usually shapes who they work with. At that size expect formal onboarding, documentation and a longer sales cycle.

ArcSight is based in Newbury, West Berkshire and around since 1976. More on microfocus.com.

Things worth asking about: response times, what is included in monitoring, and reporting. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

The facts above come from public company records. The score will come from people like you. Used ArcSight? Rate it.
