Aptana

Aptana provides a web application development, deployment and management suite for users of Ajax, Ruby on Rails and PHP web technologies. The job it does: running websites, apps and data on servers you do not have to maintain.

It makes the most sense for developers and businesses of every size. Related areas on their profile: Cloud Computing and Web Development. As a small product team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Aptana is based in San Mateo, California. More on aptana.com.
