AppHarbor

AppHarbor is a .NET Platform-as-a-Service that deploys codes of developers to AppHarbor's scalable cloud platform. In practice that means designing and building websites and web apps.

Who is it for? Mostly companies that need a site that works and ranks. Alongside the main category they mention Cloud Data Services and Web Hosting. They are a small team, 11 to 50 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

AppHarbor is based in San Francisco, California and founded in 2011. More on appharbor.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio, CMS choice, and who maintains it afterwards. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
