AppAssure Software

AppAssure is software that delivers backup, replication and recovery solutions for virtual, physical and cloud infrastructures. Put simply, it is about assessing, monitoring and responding to security threats on your behalf.

Who is it for? Mostly companies without a full security team. They also list Flash Storage and Homeland Security, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a mid-sized company team themselves (201 to 500 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best.

AppAssure Software is based in Reston, Virginia. Their site is appassure.com.

Our checklist for this category: response times, what is included in monitoring, and reporting. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
