Apache OFBiz®

Apache OFBiz is an enterprise resource planning system with a suite of enterprise apps for integrating and automating businesses. The job it does: designing and building iOS and Android apps.

The natural audience is businesses launching or rebuilding an app. They also list Communities, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a mid-sized team, 51 to 200 people, which usually shapes who they work with.

Apache OFBiz® is based in Wilmington, Delaware. Their site is ofbiz.apache.org.

Before you commit, look at portfolio quality, app store experience, and maintenance terms. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
