Animated Data

Animated Data provides an application for firefighters that analyzes, documents & monitors every aspect of performance & provides feedback. In practice that means assessing, monitoring and responding to security threats on your behalf.

It makes the most sense for companies without a full security team. Alongside the main category they mention Analytics, Consulting and Security. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Animated Data is based in St. Petersburg, Florida. Their site is statsfd.com.

Before you commit, look at response times, what is included in monitoring, and reporting. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

If you have worked with Animated Data, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
