Anchor

Anchor allows anyone to record or upload high-quality audio, host unlimited episodes, and distribute everywhere with just one click. Put simply, it is about designing and building iOS and Android apps.

The natural audience is businesses launching or rebuilding an app. They also list Audio, Broadcasting and Podcast, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a small company team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Anchor is based in New York, New York and around since 2015. More on anchor.fm.

Things worth asking about: portfolio quality, app store experience, and maintenance terms. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
