Ampsight

Ampsight is an IT company that provides cloud, data analytics and machine learning consulting services to regulated industries. In practice that means managing your IT, from help desk to infrastructure, as an outside partner.

Who is it for? Mostly small and mid-sized companies. Alongside the main category they mention Analytics, Cloud Computing, Consulting, Data Center and Machine Learning. As a very small company team themselves (1 to 10 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Ampsight is based in Ashburn, Virginia and around since 2018. Their site is ampsight.com.

Things worth asking about: response SLAs, onboarding, and what is billed per hour. Ask for a trial on your own data, not a canned demo.

If you have worked with Ampsight, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
