American Fire Technologies

American Fire Technologies is a fire protection services firm headquartered in North Carolina. Put simply, it is about managing your IT, from help desk to infrastructure, as an outside partner.

It makes the most sense for small and mid-sized companies. Alongside the main category they mention Consulting. As a small company team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

American Fire Technologies is based in Wilmington, North Carolina and founded in 1992. Their site is aft.net.

Things worth asking about: response SLAs, onboarding, and what is billed per hour. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
