Aculus

Aculus is a software company founded upon proprietary pattern recognition algorithms developed at the University of Utah. The job it does: bids, schedules, documents and field reports for building projects.

Who is it for? Mostly contractors and builders. Alongside the main category they mention Construction. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Aculus is based in Salt Lake City, Utah. More on aculus.com.

Things worth asking about: mobile use on site, document control, and cost tracking. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.

If you have worked with Aculus, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
