Active Wire Networks

Active Wire Networks Inc. offers software solutions, including J2EE consulting, AJAX, and host integration. In practice that means managing your IT, from help desk to infrastructure, as an outside partner.

It makes the most sense for small and mid-sized companies. Alongside the main category they mention Consulting. As a small company team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Active Wire Networks is based in Towson, Maryland. Their site is activewire.net.
