Act Gis

A.C.T. is a highly skilled GIS professional offering the highest quality GIS consulting services to our clients. That is the short version of Act Gis. In practice that means managing your IT, from help desk to infrastructure, as an outside partner.

Who is it for? Mostly small and mid-sized companies. They also list Consulting, so expect those to show up in the feature set. They are a very small team, 1 to 10 people, which usually shapes who they work with. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

Act Gis is based in Corona, California and around since 1990. You can read more at actgis.com.

Our checklist for this category: response SLAs, onboarding, and what is billed per hour. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.

If you have worked with Act Gis, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
