Accessibility Shield

Accessibility Shield is a software platform with services in proprietary project management, digital compliance, scanning & testing. The job it does: building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

It makes the most sense for companies with a specific process to automate. Related areas on their profile: Compliance, Developer Platform, Project Management and Test and Measurement. As a small company team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

Accessibility Shield is based in Norristown, Pennsylvania. Their site is accessibilityshield.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.
