5D Robotics

5D Robotics is a software company that accelerates human productivity and safety in an evolving, dynamic world. The job it does: connecting machines, sensors and robots to software that controls or monitors them.

The natural audience is manufacturers and operators. They also list Local, Navigation, Robotics and Search Engine, so expect those to show up in the feature set. As a small product team themselves (11 to 50 people), they tend to serve customers of a similar scale best. You will probably talk to the people who build it, which is great until you need 24/7 support.

5D Robotics is based in Carlsbad, California. You can read more at 5drobotics.com.

Our checklist for this category: hardware compatibility, uptime, and support. A short pilot with your real data tells you more than any demo.

If you have worked with 5D Robotics, tell the next buyer what you paid and what surprised you. That is the part of this page we cannot write.
