2sms

2sms provides business text messaging services for small, medium, enterprise, and government businesses. Put simply, it is about building software for you when nothing off the shelf fits.

The natural audience is companies with a specific process to automate. Alongside the main category they mention Enterprise Applications, Messaging and SMS. They are a small team, 11 to 50 people, which usually shapes who they work with. Small vendors mean quick answers and real influence on the roadmap, but check who covers support when someone is out.

2sms is based in Schaumburg, Illinois. Their site is 2sms.com.

Things worth asking about: portfolio relevance, who owns the code, and how they handle changes. Get the renewal terms in writing before the first invoice.
